Amarnath cave temple is dedicated to Lord Siva in the form of ice lingam is visited by thousands of pilgrims to have its dharshan in Shravan Purnima during the month of August.
It is 45km from Pahalgam via Chandanwari Sheshnang and Panchatarni.From Panchaatarnl there is a narrow spiraling path which is to be covered by walk.It is compared with Switzer land because of its scenic beauty of the valley.

GULMARG
Gularg,at altitude of 2560 meters is known for its golf and a 11km. long circular road which affords a magnificent view of the entire Kashmir valley.It is 38 km from Srinagar.
