Delhi is the capital of India. There are two Delhis- the old city of the Mughals built by Shah Jahan,the Emperor who built Taj Mahal at Agra,and the new city built
by the British in 1931.Both the cities are rich in monuments. Legends says that the Pandavas,heroes of the Mahabharatha Epic, founded here the city of Indraprastha, perhaps sometimes in 1200 B.C. Delhi is an ideal base for tours to Kashmir ,Kulu,Agra,Jaipur,Khajuraho and Varanasi.
